Performing Arts at FRA emphasizes practical application with a focus on film making and teaching students how to be professional in the industry. They will learn that Acting in theater settings is different than acting for a camera and to understand the technical aspects of film making will make them better actors. They will learn the importance of following directions, especially in acting, music, and art.

The skills students will learn and practice in class will benefit them in far reaching applications. Students will be learning how to overcome fear of public speaking by sharing in front of class, acting, singing, dancing, and seeing the joy in music and instruments. In addition, they will learn to perform in front of audiences and to make, as well as to edit their own films.
